The addition of an ThermaCore Warm roof will transform your space so you will be able to comfortably use your room all year round! You will also be able to enjoy the benefits of reduced noise pollution, no solar glare and extra privacy.
Whilst no roof installation is the same, an average ThermaCore Warm Roof upgrade is completed within 2-3 days. The roof is secured and weather-tight on the same day in most cases.
The ThermaCore Warm Roof is specifically designed to be ventilated. It also has a low U-value due to the fact that it is built from timber, which has low thermal conductivity, and approval in a low condensation risk analysis.
Every ThermaCore Warm Roof is fully compliant with building control regulations. It is recommended that you check with your local building office to determine whether or not consent is required. The ThermaCore Warm Roof is pre-approved by building inspectors, thus simplifying the building certificate application process.
When compared to a glass roof, the ThermaCore Warm Roof is only slightly heavier. In keeping with government guidelines, ensure the structure shows no sign of distress and that the existing foundations are adequate to carry the additional weight. In addition it is also important to check that existing windows and door frames are reinforced suitably.
Your ThermaCore Warm Roof can be bespokely designed, offering customers a range of both internal and external finishes, to provide a matching solution for your home.
A tiled roof will ensure you lose the permanent glare and hot/cold spikes. A small reduction in light will follow, but you can opt to have roof vents fitted to compensate or choose to have full glass panes incorporated.
The ThermaCore Warm Roof structure is strong enough to stand on, providing all Health and Safety procedures are followed. Although we do recommend the use of a board or suitable covering to protect the tiles.

Liteslate, introduced to the market by Britmet in May 2019, is a cutting-edge synthetic slate roofing tile that stands out due to its use of 94% recycled polymers. Designed to emulate the aesthetic and functional qualities of traditional slate, Liteslate offers an authentic finish characterized by riven edges and traditional color options.

A Shingle tiled roof is crafted to offer an authentic shingle appearance, boasting the widest array of standard colours.
This design approach not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the roof but also contributes to its structural integrity, ensuring that it combines both form and function effectively.

Fully

A ThermaCore Warm roof comes to site 80% complete, the only things you will need to complete the installation are fixings to fix the roof to the house wall, lead flashing and plaster to finish inside!
Yes, we offer guided installs! We also have a technical helpline, so anytime you have a question, we have an answer!
Yes, we meet building regs for U-values in England, Wales and Scotland and we are prepared for the next increase due in 2025!
Firstly, it’s made from timber so is up to 800 times less conductive than aluminium meaning there is no hot and cold bridging and no condensation issues. It has also been designed so no insulated-plasterboard is needed to hit the all-important 0.15 U-Value, so our roofs can be finished with a 12.5mm Plasterboard!
The ThermaCore Warm Roof comes as standard with Britmet shingles or liteslates. Ther Low Pitch Roof is finished with our Low pitch roof sheets, but can supply different tiles if required (including concrete tiles if the supporting structure is strong enough for the additional weight)
Just like traditional conservatory, we base everything on internal frame sizes. It is always best to provide the correct pitch as well, but we can help with that!
Every Thermacore Warm Roof has been independently tested and certified by LABC. We also handle all building control matters in-house, so if your project requires submission to building control, just let us know - we’ll take care of everything.
